The material’s cross-linked molecular structure forms a dense barrier, effectively blocking acid penetration and corrosion.
Unlike ordinary countertops prone to erosion or degradation, our slabs show no signs of swelling, cracking, or surface damage after acid exposure.

Epoxy slabs demonstrate moderate heat resistance under controlled Bunsen burner exposure.
When a flame is applied briefly (30–60 seconds) at a distance of 10–15 cm, the surface typically resists immediate scorching, thanks to the resin’s cross-linked molecular structure that slows heat transfer.
However, prolonged exposure (over 2 minutes) can cause discoloration or slight softening at the contact point, as the resin’s thermal stability peaks around 120–150°C.
This makes epoxy suitable for occasional Bunsen use in educational labs or workshops, provided users avoid extended direct flame contact.
